Our UKG program at Peas in Pod, Vivek Vihar, is the final and most important stage of early childhood learning before primary school, designed for children aged 4.5 to 5.5 years. This year is focused on consolidating reading, writing, and numeracy skills while building the discipline, focus, and independence children need for a confident start to formal schooling.
Children in UKG work on stronger sentence formation, vocabulary building, basic arithmetic, and problem-solving, alongside continued creative and physical activities that keep learning balanced and enjoyable. Our teachers closely monitor each child's readiness, ensuring that every learner is well prepared, both academically and emotionally, for the transition into primary school.
Alongside academics, we place equal importance on developing communication skills, teamwork, and self-confidence through group activities, presentations, and interactive projects. Regular assessments and parent-teacher interactions help track each child's progress, ensuring a smooth and well-supported transition to Grade 1.
UKG is the bridge between early childhood learning and formal primary education. Our program is carefully structured to build strong academic foundations while nurturing curiosity, confidence, and independence, ensuring every child steps into Grade 1 well-prepared and excited to continue learning.
